Summit Automotive Services – Terms & Conditions (Detailing Services)

By booking a vehicle detailing service with Summit Automotive Services (“Company”), you (“Customer”) agree to the following Terms and Conditions:

1. Service Acknowledgment

  • All services provided are as listed on the Summit Automotive Services website or pricing menu.

  • Prices may vary based on vehicle size, condition, and any additional services required.

  • The Customer acknowledges that the final price may be adjusted on-site after inspection and prior to work beginning.

2. Vehicle Condition & Add-Ons

  • Excessive pet hair, stains, odors, or debris may result in additional charges.

  • Certain services such as pet hair removal, engine bay cleaning, headlight restoration, and hazmat cleanup are priced separately.

  • The Customer is responsible for notifying the technician of any specific concerns or areas of focus.

3. Personal Belongings

  • Customer agrees to remove all personal belongings from the vehicle prior to service.

  • Summit Automotive Services is not responsible for lost, damaged, or missing items left in the vehicle.

4. Payment Policy

  • Payment is due in full at the time of service completion, unless otherwise agreed upon.

  • Accepted payment methods include cash, card, or approved digital payments.

  • For fleet/wholesale accounts, terms may be subject to a separate written agreement.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Same-day cancellations or no-shows may result in a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the service price.

  • Rescheduling is available upon request, pending availability.

6. Weather and Safety

  • In the case of extreme weather or unsafe conditions, services may be rescheduled at the discretion of Summit Automotive Services.

  • Mobile services require access to the vehicle in a safe, legal, and accessible location.

7. Liability

  • Summit Automotive Services takes great care with every vehicle. However, the Company is not liable for:

    • Pre-existing damage (e.g., dents, scratches, faulty trim)

    • Damage due to poor prior repairs or aging materials

    • Stains or odors that cannot be fully removed despite professional treatment

  • Any claims must be reported within 24 hours of service.

8. Customer Satisfaction

  • If you are unsatisfied with the service, please notify us within 24 hours and we will make reasonable efforts to address the concern.

  • Re-treatments or adjustments are made at our discretion.

9. Photos & Marketing

  • Summit Automotive Services may take before-and-after photos of your vehicle for quality assurance and marketing purposes.

  • No license plates or identifying details will be displayed.

  • You may opt out by notifying us in writing before your appointment.

10. Agreement

By booking a service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
